Eltronic A/S was founded on March 1, 2000, by Lars Jensen. In the first couple of years, Eltronic A/S delivered various automation solutions to local production companies with great success. Already after two months, Eltronic A/S employed 10 people at Spettrupvej in Hedensted.
In 2003, Eltronic A/S starts to design customer-specific production lines and the first test facility was built. The company’s competence areas then covered both automation, it, mechanical design, and assembly. The following years were characterized by an expansion of the company’s competence areas as well as more focus on service activities of production lines both locally and globally.
In 2007, the test facilities are expanded even further to meet customer demands for installation and test of larger production systems. The year after, the number of employees reaches 80 and the space at Spettrupvej is once again not enough. Together with the employees Eltronic A/S decides to build a new domicile. In May 2010, the new headquarter at Kilde Alle 4 was ready for occupancy.
In 2013, Eltronic A/S receives Børsen’s Gazelle Award for the company’s rapid growth pace – the same year, the headcount passes 160 employees. Furthermore, in 2013 Eltronic A/S made an agreement with the investment fond Blue Equity to ensure the future development of the company. In 2020 Eltronic A/S spun off from Eltronic Group into its own separate company.
